A private nature stay in the heart of Karnataka's coffee country
Our Philosophy
"This is not a resort. It's not a commercial stay."
Bowline is an intimate nature homestay in Mudigere, where your hosts Suhan and Pavithra take you through undocumented trails, hidden waterfalls, and the everyday rhythms of the Western Ghats. No scripted tours. No manufactured experiences. Just the real thing — and people who genuinely love sharing it.
Why Bowline
Nestled in Mudigere at the edge of Karnataka's coffee belt — 5 hours from Bangalore, a world away from the city
Your hosts know paths that aren't on any map — hidden waterfalls, stream crossings, views that earn their approach
Homemade, no shortcuts. Regional recipes from the Mangalore-Coorg-Malnad tradition — zero artificial anything
Small by design — you're a guest in someone's home, not a booking reference at a resort
Walk through working estates with someone who actually grew up around them
Real streams and natural pools — life jackets provided. No chlorine, no timetables

Founders · Bowline Nature Stay
Suhan and Pavithra built Bowline around a simple idea: what if a stay in the Western Ghats felt like being a guest in someone's home — where your hosts actually know every trail, every waterfall, and the best time of day to watch the mountains change?
They guide every trek themselves, cook every meal by hand, and are the reason Bowline doesn't feel like a resort. It feels like home.
Ready?
Mudigere is waiting. So are the coffee estates, the hidden waterfalls, and the campfire.
